March 2007         To Our Valued Customers:   Aussem Iron opened for business on August 1st, 2006. As a result of your support and the development of new business we have been awarded an International Agreement with the Ironworkers International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Reinforcing Iron Workers. As a contractor with an International Agreement, we have the ability to work in any Local in the State of Illinois as well as any Local in the country. It also gives us certain favorable terms as far moving manpower in and out of various Locals.  We feel that this will be a great benefit to Aussem Iron LLC and you our customers. As always if there is an anything that we can help you with, please let us know.   We continue to strive for the best in class employees and to that end we are now a participating contractor in the IMPACT program.  The IMPACT program is a joint effort between the Ironworkers International and Signatory Contractors.  Its goal is to help union contractors become even more competitive and to provide highly trained professionals to do the work.   One part of IMPACT is a new Substance Abuse Program sponsored by the Associated Steel Erectors of Chicago, and backed by the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Reinforcing Ironworkers; this program provides training for our foreman and office personnel regarding substance abuse. We believe that the work environment at all times should be healthy, safe and hazard fee. This provides you our valued customer with the highest skilled Ironworkers and an environment which is alcohol and drug free at all times.   As of March 26th 2007 all employees with Aussem Iron will be tested and certified drug free.   We look forward to a long and successful business relationship with you.
